Oh how I fell in love with this precious little girl. So many times I warn parents that it will take about 30 minutes for their little ones to warm up to me. London, however, was a total joy from the first second. And I suspect it might have something to do with her mommy, Lacy, being an amazing photographer. Seriously, you guys. I was intimidated…

I can’t tell you how many times when I’m out with all three of my kids someone muses to me “If only I had that much energy.”.

And it’s so true. The energy that these precious children embody is mind boggling. So it’s not unusual for me to come away from a session feeling incredibly winded. Because, let’s get real, I don’t have the most athletic physique around.

High energy sessions are usually the only exercise I ever get. And by usually I mean ever.

So thank you, Issak, for keeping me on my toes the other day. Thanks to you I may have actually burned more calories than I consumed. Although it’s highly doubtful.

And to his mommy and daddy, thanks for being so laid back and all around enjoyable. I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek!

A smart mommy always brings a change of clothes. Because where there is water, there will be a mess…

Issak’s aunt even came to play for a bit, and deserves a ton of credit for chasing the lady bug around…

(Also, she has fabulous hair.)

And for some of my favorite shots…

I love it when couples let me grab a few pictures of themselves together. And even more when mommies let me get some of them alone.

Those are the images that most people don’t think about getting, but I believe are so important.

Way more often than I’d like I have a family tell me that their session with me is the first time they’ve ever had family portraits done.

It’s one of the main reasons I chose to run a groupon deal and have always tried my best to keep my session prices as low as possible. Because I believe with all my heart that everyone deserves to capture these moments, no matter what their budget may look like.

Our children grow so fast and even we change daily. So to gorgeous “H” family, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and that having your family pictures finally done wasn’t too terribly painful. It was a joy to do them for you.
