I happen to love taking pictures of doggies. Small ones, mellow ones, excited ones, BIG ones.
Like Miss Hummer here….

The love between Hummer and her mama was almost palpable. And I loved being witness to it.

To the beautiful Trang and always delightful Miss Hummer,
Thank you so much for spending your morning with me!
You made all the doggie drool well worth it.

Thank you so much to all of you who hopped on board with the Mommy’s Day special. All of my slots were filled and it was an exhausting, hot, wonderful weekend.
Everyone’s images are ready and will be in the mail on their way to your hands by Monday!
I had such a hard time just picking 2 pictures from each group’s session, but narrowed it down to my favorites.
Enjoy!

I didn’t even realize it when I booked the session, but Angela and I went to high school together! Well, for one year. She graduated three years before me. But I love it when things just seem to fall into place that way.
We did the session at their home, and I have to say that I think that’s my favorite way to capture families. Things can be so much more laid back, because I’m not fighting for my favorite spots with other photographers in a crowded park. And if littles are involved they’re always more comfortable in their own environment.
It really is the best way to capture a family as they truly are.

We set Asa loose to run in the yard with the dogs and these were my absolute favorites from the day. Proof that if you just let kids be themselves you’ll capture those memories that will really mean something in the future.

I loved playing with your wonderful family, Angela. Dogs and all. I really hope you love these and they bring back floods of good memories for years to come!
