I love Valentine’s Day.

Sure it may be a holiday created as a conspiracy so we all buy chocolate we don’t really need or stuffed animals for our significant others that aren’t all that necessary, but I know it’s an important day around here because finding the time in every day crazy life to show my husband that I really love him can be somewhat impossible.

Plus it gives us a reason to get out of the house for a night and have someone take our kids.

I also realize that it can be hard to get pictures of you and your significant other at times. The hold the camera out at arm’s length method is a popular one and does in a pinch, but I decided to offer mini sessions just for this time of year.

Mostly because a. it’s cold and I haven’t been booking that many jobs, but I need to stay on my toes and practice continually and b. it just sounded like fun.

The same rules apply to this as they did to the Christmas family portraits.

Once again, I will be in Guthrie. We’ll saddle up and head up there on February 5th, from 9am to 3pm. (A shorter day than last time. My feet were literally on fire. Yes, I’m weak.)

The details:

These sessions will be 20-30 minutes long, and you will receive 7 high resolution images. I’ll have those images in your hands by February 11th in case you want to take some of yourself to give to your snuggle buddy for the big V day.

Cost is $55, and will need to be paid by January 28th to secure your spot. For your convenience, I can accept payment through paypal, or you can always just mail your payment directly to me! It being such short notice, I’d even be happy to meet you to accept payment, as long as it’s not too far out of the Edmond area.

The session fee is non-refundable, should you have to cancel for some reason other than horrific weather.

I won’t make out a schedule, since I don’t expect very many people to take me up on this since it’s such short notice. But I do love to do things at the last minute possible.

So if anyone’s interested, just shoot me a message or call me at 405-501-2862!

(I’m still planning on something for Mother’s Day and I promise I’ll give you more notice on that one.)

I have the extreme honor of capturing one of my heroes and her beautiful family.

We decided to hit one of my favorite spots: downtown OKC.

I had a blast with you guys. Thank you for making my job so easy.
