On May 17th, 2003 I got married. 9 months later we were expecting our first baby. Now..nearly 7 years later we’re both pushing 30 and we have three children. Life couldn’t be any better.

We’re celebrating with dinner and a movie. Or maybe a nice day of geocashing. And by giving you money.

Between now and our 7th anniversary, if you book any one of our three packages you will receive a $70 gift card to anywhere you’ve registered. You could buy towels, a coffee maker (although I’m a French press girl), or some pictures frames. Because I’m sure you won’t get enough of those.

I just hope you ladies turn out to be as lucky as I am…

I love the sun. I don’t do well emotionally when we have a long strain of cloudy days. It’s like my body craves the vitamin D and the light.

And while a cloudy day can make for beautiful portraits, I just can’t resist running outside with my camera when the sun is high in the sky and shining bright.

Some of these are now listed in my shop, if you’d like to have them for your wall.

I received my first print for an etsy order in the mail today and am feeling very giddy about mailing it out. I am so blessed by people all around me who love and support me in these silly photography endeavors.

To each and every one of you, I love you.

There are perks to having a high school friend open a gelato shop. You can barter commercial photographs for free ice cream.

il dolce gelato has two locations. One in Norman and one in Moore, Oklahoma. If you’ve never had gelato, you’re missing out. And if you’ve had gelato you know how hard it is to go back to ice cream.

The latte was so smooth, and just right. Not too syrupy sweet either. It was just like a good latte should be.
